Healthy Foods education is the foundation for weight loss. Eating proper foods in the proper portions enables members to lose weight and maintain a healthy weight for the rest of their lives. The right program for you is one you can do for the rest of your life. We teach our members to incorporate their favorite foods into their healthy eating. An individual can enjoy their diet especially if they are allowed to eat the food they love.
Metabolism Retraining is the second key to permanent weight loss. As we age, our metabolism naturally slows down. Other factors included: ill health, surgery, medication, or yo-yo dieting. We teach our members how to start with their current activity level and ability and build on it to kick start the metabolism. Metabolism Retraining is one way to shed excess weight and NEVER need to lose weight again.
Motivation component- our program includes 1 on 1 coaching. Only 15 % of being overweight has to do with what we eat, 30% is movement, 55% has to do with how and what we think about. At Thin and Healthy we help our members develop the skills needed to maintain motivation and succeed in every area of their lives. When all the pieces of our lives are flowing smoothly weight management becomes easier.
